Vote For The Vacuole!
Transcript of Vote For The Vacuole!
Structure and Function Fun
membrane that surrounds a mass of fluid (nutrients/waste)
plant-> one large 80%
This is useful structure related to the storage like function of vacuoles
Why they are so important
without vacuoles we would have no healthy plants -> no food for animals
cells would be poisoned by own waste and harmful bacteria and toxins-> we would die
not only carries out own functions but helps with endocytosis and exocytosis
protects other organelles
What the Vacuole Does For Our Plant Friends
What Vacuoles Do For You!
help with endocytosis & exocytosis
isolate bacteria and toxins
store waste and nutrients

VITAL VACUOLES FOR BEST ORGANELLE
Vacuoles are great and important organelles in both animals and plants. Without vacuoles the world as we know it would change- which is why you should vote for vacuole as best organelle.
A presentation by:
Isolating materials that might be harmful or a threat to the cell
stores waste, water, and nutrients
maintains turgor pressure (plants)
maintains pH levels
larger in plant cells
tugor pressure -> staying tall
stores water, some nutrients
stores waste products
