Transcript of Charlottes Web

I believe Charlotte's Web is considered a classic because it has a wide audience,it is over 50 years old and has been made into a movie. Charlotte is also one of the main characters.
She is a very clever but nice spider that Wilbur
meets later after he arrives in the barn. When Wilbur met Charlotte he thought she was beautiful. Charlotte and Wilbur became best friends. Fern Charlotte's Web Written by

Gabrielle Brooks Considered a classic Fern has been in the book since the beggining. I like her because when her dad was going to "do away with it.'' (The little runt that Fern had named
Wilbur.) She wanted to take care of him and show her Papa that he is not just a little pig that was born small. Wilbur Wilbur is an other main character in Charlotte's Web. He is the cute fun loving little pig that is dearly loved by his owner Fern. He always discovers
something new to entertain him. Like when he meets Charlotte or a string that Tempelton gave him. Charlotte Setting The main setting in the book Charlotte's Web takes place on Mr. Zuckermans farm. His farm is filled with horses, cows, goose, sheep ect. Wilbur lives in a pigpen with the ground covered in cow manure. Plot In the beginning, Fern saves Wilbur from being killed by her dad and when Wilbur grows bigger he is transferred to Mr. Zuckermans farm. Next,
Wilbur meets his new friend Charlotte. Then, Charlotte thinks of ways to save poor Wilbur. Finally, Mr. Zuckerman decides to take Wilbur to the fair so he can win prizes. Author's Theme I think the author's theme or purpose in
Charlotte's Web is to stand up in what you
believe in. I believe this is the author's
purpose because Fern didn't want Wilbur to
die just because he was a runt. Also, Charlotte
didn't want Wilbur to be turned into bacon and
ham. This is the Charlotte's Web movie trailer
made in 1973. I chose this movie trailer
because this was the only Charlotte's
Web movie i've seen and I think this one
movie reflects most off of the book
Charlotte's Web. "You have been my friend. That itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you
because i liked you. After all, what's a life,
anyway? we're born, we live a little while,
we die. A spider's life can't help being
something but a mess, with all this trapping
and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps
I was trying to lift up my life a trifle.
Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little
of that.''

I chose this quote because it really means a
lot. It really teaches you that it's good to have a lot of friends or that it's always good to have a friend right beside you to help.
