The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: The Soundtrack
Transcript of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: The Soundtrack
by: Angelica Berrios English 8y
This song is about someone telling people to runaway. It relates to the feud that the Grangfords had with the other family and want them to surrender or die.
You might know this song from ''Toy Story'' it's a song a about friendship. Huck and Jim totally relate to this song because Huck would do anything for Jim and vise-versa.
2. Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival
This song talks about someone who would rather be going down a river. It relates to Huck because he would rather be in the boat than being stuck in the city with his family.
1. No Surrender by Bruce Springsteen
''No Surrender'' describes two people escaping their problems. Huck and Jim are the ''blood brothers'' as Bruce says in the song.
This song represents Jim's "liberation" at the Phelps' farm. I truly think it tells what Jim has gone through.
Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden
You've Got A Friend In Me by
Mississippi by Bob Dylan
This song talks about how hard the city life is. Huck loves the country side especially Mississippi.
Black Water by The Doobie
This song is about having no
worries while you're in Mississippi. When Huck escapes the cabin he feels the same way
Midnight Rider by Allman Brothers
This song is about leaving everything behind and not caring. Huck leaves everything behind because back there is just so much trouble for him.
Change by Taylor Swift
In this song it's about being tired of being under appreciated. I feel that the song is inspired by racism in that time or how they treated Jim.
Southern Accents by Tom Petty
This is a nostalgic ballad to the place you come from. Huck feels the same in different aspects of the book.
Eye of The Tiger by Survivor
Thank you for paying attention!
