In my role as a First Grade teacher, I was a dedicated, resourceful professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every student. It was my daily goal to meet and shape the 21st century learner. I served as a Dual Language Enrichment teacher, a cluster teacher for Gifted and Talented students, and a Lead 2021 digital classroom.

Elementary representative on Principal panel to promote learner-centered platform.
In my role as elementary librarian, I work daily to transform my library into a future ready space for learners. Things I have implemented to realize the transformation have been creating a collaborative learning space, organizing global collaborations, implementing a Makerspace, and building a relevant library collection. Motivating learners to become life-long readers and matching just the right book to the learner are my passions. Other tasks include curating resources for educators and learners, coordination of book fair, and collaborating with educators to provide resources to meet the needs of their curriculum. I am also the Campus Technology Assistant and am responsible for certain technology duties.
