Ancient Greece was one of the largest contributors.
We don't know many contributions but we do know some like Democracy, philosophy, astrology, biology, mathematics, physics, and the theatre.
Athenian art is some of the most unique in the world.
There were no decisions made by government without first asking the Assembly.
where is this place?
The Greek city-states were grouped together at the southern end of a very large peninsula.
A peninsula is a piece of land surrounded by water on three sides.
The peninsula of ancient Greece had a Mediterranean geography in ancient greece climate.
Its summers were hot and dry. Temperatures averaged about 75° F (24° C) in summer.
In the winter, temperatures again were influenced by the surrounding water.
Typically temperatures did not go below 40° F (4.4° C) with the exceptions in the high mountains.
