3D Printer Research
Transcript of 3D Printer Research
design by Dóri Sirály for Prezi
A 3D Printer is a printer that prints stuff out 3 Dimension. It takes a long time to make something small and takes even longer to make something big.
The 3D printer was invented by Chuck Hull in 1984, USA
What is a 3D Printer?
Why do we want a 3D Printer in H.I.S? What will we use it for?
History of 3D Printer
FDM 3D Printer (Fused deposition modeling),
SLS 3D Printer (Selective laser sintering),
SLA 3D Printer (Stereolithography)
Types of Printer
We can make any 3D stuff (solid) with it and its price is not that expensive.
Why is it helpful?
Equipment/ accessories/ software we needed
Using 3D printers in other schools
Disadvantages & Advantages
-We can make many useful 3D stuff
-There are cheap 3D printer
-There is limit of the size
-Takes a massive time
-Easily to break
-High temperature so children must stay away.
What we need:
Work and output room, computer, 3D Printers and 3D Scanners (game motion recognizers also available), tools, the filament, worker,a digital 3D model, 3D modeling program, and sliced.

8th grade students at A.MacArthur Barr Middle School,
they use 3D printer to make their own 3D printed wheels for
a hands-on lesson about force dynamics.
H.I.S wants a 3D Printer because we can print things out 3 Dimension! Students will sure be careful around the 3D Printer as it is very hot, the minimum heat is
200 degrees Celsius
Students, Teachers and Staffs may use the printer for valuable things, students may want to print something out for Art, geography, etc...
