Things the Prezi tutorial left out

The normal, boring Prezi tutorial told you how to do the basic stuff like move things and make text, but it left out a lot of stuff. Here is everything I can find that was left out. All pictures were made by me (DJ Anselmo) but the videos aren't mine

Transcript of Things the Prezi tutorial left out

Everything the Prezi
tutorial left out. Viwer discresion is advised... First thing, the tutorial teaches you the basic things of prezi like "how to make words" and "how to make a circle." So I decided to put all that together and add things that I have learned myself. Lets look over some of the things prezi can do. First thing the tutorial seemed to miss, creating your own themes. It is fairly simple but can use explaining. In your bubble menu, click on colors and fonts, then choose theme wizard. Here you have two choices at the bottom left hand side of the screen, but we will stick to wizard for now. on the first page you get an option to change the background and logo (paid accounts only) and on the next page you get your fonts and colors, I will get more on fonts later. The last page has customizable colors for all items like arrows and boxes. Some things have the same colors like arrows and lines. Now for fonts. You get three font options. Title1, Title2, and body. Body is default. to change the theme while editing text, use the checkboxes next to the OK button. To change the look of the font, use the colors and fonts option in your bubble menu in the top left corner. http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Ffrontpagemag.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2010%2F11%2FDecision-Points.jpg&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNFJLyUZGvhV6YERXQfAsVI7P3ugoQ This is mostly self explanitory but I will explain it anyway. Group editing is also an option using the Meeting button at the top of the screen. You have the option to either share your presentation online so people can edit over the internet, or show it as a presentation so there is no SchoolVIEW needed. The process is simple, first goto meeting in the menu bar and chose the option of your liking (edit or present) then a message will appear. Give it to someone else and thats it! http://newhumanist.org.uk/images/0805-May.jpg Another thing left out in the video was the usage of frames. frames are a box that can be used as place holders to make more than on thing visible at the same time. Example! The original tutorial These were my fonts in this Prezi. That was an hidden frame here is what it looks like. To do that is probably the most "super simple." All you
have to do is go to frame in the bubble menu and
chose the one you think is best, then link it to a path.
Here are the different frames (there is a hidden one also.). The rest of Prezi should be all explained or self explanitory so have fun Prezi-ing. Music in Prezi This is pretty simple, but it is not a direct feature of Prezi. Instead, we will use our friend, Youtube. All you have to do is find your song on Youtube and put it here, but instead of putting it to a path, put it in a visible view (like a frame) and roll your mouse over it and press play. Press the play button for Fort Knox by Goldfish! You can safely go threw your Prezi with the music on, and even watch other Youtube videos.
