1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

My media product uses a number of conventions of real media products, but it also develops and challenges them in ways too. As the genre of my magazine is mainstream I've tried to incorporate a number of different elements. The genre, mainstream, is "popular music" which, in theory, reflects generally what everyone likes and enjoy so I've tried to bring in conventions from a few different genres together to create one product.
1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

I have managed to use, develop and challenge conventions of music magazines successfully to create a final finished media product which could be sold as a mainstream music magazine. Mainly I used and developed these elements and conventions but there is a few instances where I strayed off of these and tried to make a unique and new magazine which hasn't been created before.
