A great option for company financial statements. Put together company comparison reports, find industry reports, and locate info on private companies.
The "company dossier" search provides current news articles, lists of companies within an industry, and other directory information.

Especially important for certain types of business data like current real estate laws.
Is the information biased in any way? Are they trying to sell you something?
Government info (like the Census Bureau) is usually pretty trustworthy, just make sure you know WHO is putting the information out there.
Check for citations or external links -- you don't want to quote something that's misquoted!
Will the information give you what you need? Is the data relevant to your topic?
