WHAT IS FRACKING?
What happens when we run out?

fossil fuels are very old
north sea oil deposits are around 150 million years old
although humans probably used fossil fuel in ancient times, as far back as the iron age, it was the industrial revolution that led to their wide-scale extraction
just over 200 years, we have consumed an incredible amount of them, leaving fossil fuels all but gone and the climaye seriously impacted
fossil fuels are an incredible dense form of energy, and took billion of years to become so
when they are gone, they're gone forever

The Different Viewpoints of Energy Usage
Different people have different view on how energy is used in Canada
Places with lots of oil and fossil fuels to drill depend on selling it to improve their economy
HOW DOES ENERGY USAGE
AFFECT CANADIANS?
ECONOMICALLY,SOCIALLY AND AND
DEVELOPMENT
depletion of fossil fuels WILL LEAD TO their sky rocketing prices.
The USE OF RENEWABLE sources- prices will drop.
better for the environment and better for Canada’s economy.

leads to the creation of lots of jobs. For example FOR EXTRACTING FOSSIL FUELS MANY JOBS ARE CREATED IN aLBERTA.
experiments and studies conducted to help us learn and understand greener energy sources
This will help Canada to grow to as a country, as well as EDUCATE its citizens .
Oil workers depend on oil drilling for work
Environmentalists Don't want to use fossil fuels because burning them harms the atmosphere
People in the Government don't want to use cleaner energy (Solar, Hydro) because they think it will be more expensive or less efficient

Wind Energy
The kinetic energy of air flow harvested by wind turbines or sails to produce mechanical or electrical power.
