The people of Turkey have changed their environment in order to make their way of life easier. Human Interaction Turkey has built roads and canals to connect their country and make natural resources more available. The women in Turkey wear the traditional Muslim headdress, a Hijab. An uprising in Syria has lead
to a civil war. As a neighbor of this nation, Turkey is very much involved in Syria's civil war. After Syria shot down a Turkish fighter-jet, Turkey has established forces to protect it's border. Turkey is providing about 50,000 resistant refugees with food and shelter. Current Event: Turkey and Syria Goreme National Park and Rock Cites of Cappadocia
