Kesimpulan
Kerajaan telah menunjukkan usaha yang baik dalam memupuk hubungan etnik dalam rakyat berbilang kaum tetapi masih perlu penambahbaikan supaya peranan mereka memberi impak yang holistik supaya warga Malaysia dapat menikmati keamanan dan kedamaian yang berterusan demi mengecapi Wawasan 2020.
DASAR PENDIDIKAN
Bahasa Melayu
sebagai bahasa pengantar. Sukatan pelajaran dan sistem peperiksaan yang sama.
Rakyat dapat disatukan dengan perasaan taat setia melalui sistem pendidikan yang sama

To achieve 1Malaysia, Lee pointed out there were two problems to overcome, first of which was
to overcome the formation of political parties based on race

2. Cut corruption:
Much of the time it is the most corrupt among us who play the race card. We must guard against the benefits to our race being whittled away, they exhort, when what they really mean is that they don’t want the power and patronage they wield that makes them wealthy sometimes beyond belief to be taken away from them. They champion their race only to continue in their corrupt ways.
8. Move towards equality of opportunity, not outcome:
To
do away with a dependence habit
and to encourage and
reward effort
, the aim should be equality of opportunity. All disadvantaged groups can be given some forms of advantage to redress imbalances

bringing into play the
question of race

10. Introduce anti-discriminatory legislation and enforce it scrupulously

where there are minorities who are citizens, their rights must be scrupulously protected
to ensure national unity

My (unsolicited) Take on
1Malaysia

I will assume that
PM Najib was well intended
when he developed the 1Malaysia concept, but it still appears that it has quickly become a relatively meaningless slogan to most Malaysians. If Malaysians don't want to embrace the "melting pot" concept of unity that we have in the US, then they will have to develop some sort of a unique Malaysian identity. Recently, there was a brief moment of national unity when the Malaysian Football (soccer) team beat Indonesia to win the South East Asian Football Championship, but a country needs to have a greater unifying factor than just beating a hated rival.

My suggestion is that one thing that Malaysians of all races could unify around is their environment. Malaysia is blessed with an amazing abundance of
biodiversity
. I suggest all Malaysians could have great pride in their natural environment if only they were more aware of what treasures their country held.

Kerana Bahasa Melayu dijadikan sebagai bahasa pengantar. Ini mewujudkan sebuah medium komunikasi yang difahami oleh semua kaum, lalu memudahkan komunikasi antara kaum. Aktiviti gotong-royong yang diadakan di sekolah juga menyumbang kepada pemupukan persahabatan dan perpaduan antara murid berbilang kaum. Dalam aktiviti kokurikulum, penglibatan dalam mana-mana kelab dan persatuan terbuka kepada semua kaum. Maka murid dari semua kaum boleh berinteraksi.

Tidak berkesan:
Sekolah wawasan yang dikatakan diwujudkan bagi memupuk perpaduan antara kaum sebenarnya tidak mencapai objektif. Sekadar menempatkan 2 atau 3 buah sekolah rendah dari aliran yang berbeza di kawasan yang sama, menyambung sekolah-sekolah dengan jambatan penghubung dan pengunaan kemudahan yang sama tidak akan melahirkan anak bangsa Malaysia yang lebih bersifat cinta akan Negara. Jika murid-murid tidak faham akan tujuan kewujudan sekolah wawasan, objektif sebenar tidak akan tercapai.
Keberkesanan
Berkesan:
Rakyat berpeluang untuk melibatkan diri, mengenali dan menghayati budaya kaum lain melalui program kebudayaan seperti citrawarna. Telah merapatkan perbezaan kebudayaan di antara kaum dengan menghimpunkannya dalam satu acara seperti persembahan sewaktu Hari Kemerdekaan.
Tidak:
promosi untuk program-program kebudayaan yang dilaksanakan di peringkat kebangsaan lebih bertujuan untuk menarik kedatangan pelancong asing ke Malaysia.

Tidak:
Setelah menilai objektif dan tujuan kebanyakkan usaha yang dilaksanakan di bawah konsep ini, didapati isu mengenai hubungan etnik dan perpaduan kaum kurang diberi perhatian. Konsep Satu Malaysia hanya berfokus terhadap pembangunan individu tanpa mengira kaum. Misalnya, usaha BR1M yang memberi baucer buku kepada setiap pelajar tanpa mengira kaum. Baucer tersebut
hanya membantu individu sahaja, ia tidak dapat memupuk nilai perpaduan dalam kalangan pelajar yang berbilang kaum
. Sama juga didapati dengan konsep klinik dan pusat rawatan Satu Malaysia yang tidak berobjektif untuk memupuk hubungan etnik malah semata-mata untuk kebaikan kesihatan setiap rakyat Malaysia.
Berkesan:
Memberi kesedaran kepada golongan belia tentang hubungan etnik dengan memberi peluang kepada belia untuk merancang program dan aktiviti yang berdasarkan perpaduan dan hubungan etnik. Ia juga mengekalkan perpaduan dalam kepelbagaian etnik dalam kalangan masyarakat malaysia
