-(chorus) "Let it be, let it be"
-lines 2 & 29. "Mother Mary comes to me although the song is about a sad time, it seems to have a positive mood. Conclusion the author uses repetition of the line "let it be" to show that it is best to leave some things alone the band officially broke up in April of 1970,
about 1 month after the song came out. Onomatopoeia-
lines 23 & 38.
"Ah let it be yeah let it be" I think the song is lyric poetry. It doesn't really tell a story and it also doesn't have any characters speaking. The only voice in this song is that of the writer/singer himself. He basically tells his feelings about how situations, (the band's breakup) can and will resolve themselves eventually. Lines 1-3 say
"When I find myself in times of trouble"
"Mother Mary comes to me"
"Speaking words of wisdom, let it be"
This means that when he has "trouble" or a problem, he decides to "let it be", or let it fix itself. I think the meaning of the song is that sometimes it is best just to leave things alone. In lines 1-3 the singer says,
"When I find myself in times of trouble"
"Mother Mary comes to me"
"Speaking words of wisdom, let it be"
he is faced with a problem (band breakup) and decides the best ting to do is to leave it alone.
The message it is sending is that sometimes it is wise not to try fixing a proplem. Line 9 says,
"Whisper words of wisdom, let it be"
this says that it is wise to leave things alone. This song is about how problems in life can resolve themselves, without any help.
