Columbia University is located in Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York.
Columbia University offers classes to the public, if you register to their school, you can take classes that you want to major in for your career.
You can go there for your under-graduate and/or graduate classes.
Columbia University wasn't always called Columbia University, it was called King's College.
They renamed the school Columbia University in 1784.
The schools reason why for naming it after Columbus is because it "embodied the patriotic fervor that had inspired the nation's quest for independence."
British Columbia is located in Canada near Vancouver.

Horseback riding
Hiking
Sky-diving
Tours of the city, history museums, wildlife, and etc.
There are so many things you can do in British Columbia.
The "British" part in British Columbia is referred from Britain; then "Columbia" part comes from Christopher Columbus, he was the one who discovered that land.
Columbus Junction is located in Louisa County in Iowa.

Columbus Junction was named after Columbus to honor him.

You can just go there to relax.
The park is about Armenian Heritage; that's why Columbus is apart of the park. But it is a big part in the park.
Columbus Park is located in Brooklyn, New York.
Near the park is Chinatown.
You can walk around and enjoy the park.
There are basketball courts you can go to.
It is a safe environment.
The statue in the park symbolizes him being a navigator on the ship to America.
Colombia is located in South America.

The country's capital Bogota
Cartagena (It is a old city)
Tierradentro and San Agustin (Park)
Santa Marta and Pargue Tayrona (Beaches)
Isla Gorgona (Island)
Fransico de Miranda named Columbia.It was named Colombia in honor of Christhopher Columbus.
The location of the monument is in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois.
Things you can do in Grant Park:
Go on the playgrounds
You can play on the tennis, baseball, & volleyball courts.
Go see the gardens
Go on the trails
Go to see the monuments & fountains.
There are more things you can do in Grant Park.
The monument was put in the park for the State Capitol Building. It is also symbol for President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
