During this Unit
We Will:

Read Sci Fi short stories/poetry/novels
Look at different aspects of this genre
Analyze our thoughts on the essential questions
Participate in Literature Circles
All Students will:

Pick a SciFi novel to read
Read the novel, looking for answers to the Essential Questions, interesting aspects, and enjoyable discoveries with your Lit. Circle
Create a presentation about science fiction the class!
Fiction based on people's imagination
Often involves future scientific or technological inventions and major changes to society and the environment
Often space and the unknown are portrayed
What is sci fi?
It provides some options for what is possible in the future.
