-The international rules board was formed april 23rd 1900.

-Revised stick specification which incorperates a new way of measuring the stick bowrake
- NHL ends with the predecessor league.
-After not resolving disputes with the NHA they formed the NHL.
-In the first quarter NHL competed against 2 major leagues.
-In 1924 the NHL expanded into the USA.
-The great depression and WW2 reduced the league to 6 teams.
