He was a Necrophiliac, meaning he had sex after the victim was murdered Totem Phase: Did not collect anything from the body to remember it
Necrophilia was common with the dead victims Death Toll: Admitted to 35 murders
Believed to have murdered about 40+ Stable: This is because Patrick didn't venture out of his area of California very often. Only when he had to dispose of the severed body parts. Organized: Patrick Kearney always had a plan before he went out on his murders
He made the death quick and easy, without any struggle
After the kill, he would X-Acto knife the bodies into pieces, making them easier to distribute
Even taking the precaution of draining the blood from these parts to reduce the dried blood odor
The body parts were spread out in different areas in black trash bags which gave him the name, "The Trash Bag Killer" Bibliography "Patrick Kearney | Murderpedia, the Encyclopedia of Murderers." Patrick Kearney | Murderpedia, the Encyclopedia of Murderers. N.p., n.d. Web. 06 May 2013.
