Data Storage
Some multifunctional mobile phones allow the user to stream music and videos from online. You can do this by visiting particular websites, or even downloading them via blue-tooth from your peers.
You can also access websites on the internet via the use of 3G or a wifi connection. Nearly all phones nowadays are able to connect to the internet via 3G or wifi.

Modern smartphones are multifunctional
devices. They have gradually taken on
features and devices that are stored
within the mobile.

phones, from the megapixel of a camera- to the amount
of storage that different mobile phones have.

Most mobile phones nowadays have the ability to capture pictures and record videos. Because of the size of the camera, however, quality of the media may be slightly poorer compared to that of a professional digital camera. More expensive camera phones are more likely to take better quality pictures and videos although even the most basic camera phones are still able to take adequate quality pictures and videos.
Most mobile phones have a source of entertainment such as games, for the user to play, already installed on the handset when it is bought. These are likely to be 3 or 4 basic, traditional games. However, on more advanced technology, you are able to download/install your own entertainment, such as a wide range of games on mobiles like iPhone, Samsung and HTC from app stores, which has over 20 billion applications downloaded, all over the world.
New phones that include Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers can tell you your exact location and give you directions to where you need to go. With the right software or service package, the system can pinpoint your location, give directions to your destination and provide information about nearby businesses.
Towers and base stations, arranged into a network of cells, send and receive radio signals. Mobile phones contain low-power transmitters that communicate with the nearest tower
.
Some objects can stop the signals from being transmitted, like: trees and buildings. These can affect how long it takes your signal to travel to a tower, this method is often less accurate than a GPS measurement
.
These signals then allow you to see your current location and be provided with directions.
Data storage, often just called storage or memory, is a technology consisting of computer components and recording media used to retain digital data. It is a core function and fundamental component of computers and mobile phones as well as lots of other digital devices in the 21st century. On the other hand, long before our time- a basic mobile phone would not be compatible with a USB or a memory card.
Examples of data storage are memory cards and USB sticks.
In the past, mobile productivity would have been defined by a portable cordless , phone and a pager that would allow you to receive notification of phone calls. Today, mobile productivity is defined by the number of business applications that you can download on your smartphone, tablet notebook or laptop. The evolution of mobile productivity is quite astonishing.
