Case of “Batman: Colorado Shooting”
by James Holmes. What happened Shocked eyewitnesses have spoken of their horror after a gunman opened fire at a midnight screening of the new Batman film and shot about 70 people between of them a baby a 3 month-old.


The man was identified by police as James Holmes, 24 years old, who has no previous record (only a traffic ticket). Holmes was wearing a gas mask burst through the emergency exit of a movie theatre in Aurora, Colorado, during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises this morning, some said they thought it had been part of the movie. How it happened The man opened fire and slowly made his way up the stairs shooting people at random in the state's worst mass shooting since Columbine. One of the women who escaped the shooting said Holmes pointed a gun at her face but then shot people seated behind her.

Twenty-five-year-old Jennifer Seeger, of Aurora, says she was in the second row, about four feet from the gunman. She says she 'was just a deer in headlights' and ducked to the ground. Testimonies The moment Batman appeared on screen a man wearing body armour and a gas mask, and wielding at least one long gun, stood up and faced the crowd.

What witnesses described as two 'bombs' - now believed to be tear gas - were thrown into the crowd, he said.'As people ran this gunman, or gunmen, opened fire hitting people,' he said. 'Police sources have told us there are 10 bodies inside the cinema, most of them children or teenagers, and one baby.

'A baby was shot at point blank range, the family were gathered around screaming.'
Reporter Brenda Stuart told Sky News: 'A lot of people thought the gunshots were part of the movie. Then bullets started flying.' Trial Nowadays James Holmes faces 166 felony charges in the July 20 shooting in Aurora that left 12 people dead and 70 people injured. Brauchler hasn't said whether he will seek the death penalty for Holmes.
Holmes is scheduled to enter a plea in March. A former Colorado Springs prosecutor who has tried four death penalty cases and several murder cases will lead the prosecution against the suspect in the Colorado theater shooting case. The hiring of Dan Zook was announced Wednesday by 18th Judicial District Attorney George Brauchler. Let's see our Mock...! VIDEO
