The Lunch Box: an interesting wiki
The project
Pupils talk about their eating habits (what they eat for lunch, some recipes, the timetables, ...).

They use the second language for an authentic purpose.
The Lunch Box project
Although the layout was not very catchy, it's a very interesting site!!
Schools involved
18 schools form 11 countries
Students introduce themselves and what they eat for lunch. Then, they prepare an example of an ideal healthy lunch and present it.
They can also write or record a recipe from their country.
Students have used different tools as Vimeo, YouTube, Skype or Woices.
What I most like about the wiki is that children used at least two languages and that the countries involved in the project had very different habits.
They also used a wide variety of tools to get to communicate.
I strongly recommend visiting it!!
