Red Hot Chili Peppers is a rock band from the United States formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. The group's musical style is rock, punk, rap, metal and psychedelic rock. At first the band was called Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem, and was composed of 4 members: Hillel Slovak was the band's guitarist Jack Irons was the drummer And current members Anthony and Flea Slovak died of a heroin overdose in 1988. Then came many substitutes until adopted as a member John Frusciante, Fri Blood Sugar Magik was the group's first big hit, selling 13 million copies. Frusciante left the band because of his drug addiction and was replaced by Arik Marshall to complete the tour. Frusciante, rejoined the band in 1998. Recorded Californication, which sold 15 million copies, making it the most commercially successful album of the band. Californication The Red Hot Chili Peppers have won 6 Grammy Awards! Group:
