Eric Cartman is one of main characters in south park and has been in the show since it started and is often considered the most popular character in the show .

Cartman is also one of the funniest characters in south park he is voiced by Trey Parker. he is the most racist and offensive character in the show.
Stan Marsh

he is one of the main characters in the show and is also voiced by Trey Parker and based on trey Parker.

Stan is a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful character he has more of a leadership role in the show.

his dialogue is often intended to reflect stances and views on more adult-oriented issues.

Kyle Broflovski

kyle is jewish and is one of the main characters in
the show he is voiced by Matt Stone and is also based on Matt Stone.

he is friendly and smart and also takes a leadership role in the show. kyle has elected praise and
criticism by jewish viewers for his role in the show and is normally ripped on for being jewish mostly by Eric Cartman.

and is still going today and is in
its 17th season. Parker and Stone developed the show from two animated shorts they created in 1992 and 1995. That latter became one of the first Internet viral videos, which ultimately led to its production as a series

Trey Parker is the co-creator, voice actor, writer, directer producer and does many more things on the show he has written
most of the episodes on the show and voices over 30 charcters in the show. Matt Stone is the co-creator, producer, writer and voice actor he also voices multiple characters.

They are also the creators of the film Team America and the musical The Book of Mormon.



Kenny Mccormick

Kenny is one of the main characters and is voiced by Matt Stone.

Kenny has died a lot in south park he has died 84 times from season 1-16 and has also died in the movie and 9 shorts.

Has the poorest family in the show and normally gets ripped on for being poor.

Randy Marsh

Randy is the father of Stan Marsh and is actually based on trey parkers dad. randy is a geologist and so is trey parkers dad. Randy always overreacts and obsesses over ideas and fads. in my opinion he is the funniest character in the show.

Leopold Stotch (Butters)

Butters has actually been in the show since it started as a background character but his first major appearance was in season 3. he is voiced by Matt Stone.

Butters has adapted into one of the shows main characters since season 6.

Butters is cheerful, naive, optimistic, and a gullible character.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is a 1999 American animated musical comedy film It features twelve songs by Parker and Marc Shaiman with additional lyrics by Stone. It was produced by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. in association with Comedy Central.

the four boys from South Park see a controversial R-rated movie featuring Canadians Terrance and Phillip. The boys begin cursing incessantly and their parents pressure the United States to wage war against Canada as a result of corrupting their children. there are 399 profane words, including 144 uses of fuck, 128 offensive gestures and 221 acts of violence—in effect, one every six seconds. In the song "Uncle Fucka' the curse word fuck is said 31 times.

the sequel to this film is said to likely be the end of the show.

south park: the stick of truth is a upcoming role playing game that will be released on December 13 2013 in europe on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Matt stone and trey Parker have wrote the script for the game, overseeing the project, and providing the voices of the characters.

The Stick of Truth follows a number of video games based on the series, including three early titles released between 1998 and 2000, and more recently, South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play (released in 2009), and South Park: Tenorman's Revenge, released in March 2012.[8] The character's costumes and classes appear to be based on the South Park episode The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers. You begin as the new kid in town facing a harrowing challenge: making friends. As you start your quest the children of South Park are embroiled in a city-wide, live-action-role-playing game, casting imaginary spells and swinging fake swords. Over time the simple children’s game escalates into a battle of good and evil that threatens to consume the world.

south park has had many controversies some schools in America have banned their students from wearing south park related t-shirts.

the Scientology controversy is one of the biggest in south park In the season nine (2005) episode "Trapped in the Closet", Stan Marsh is recognized as the reincarnation of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard before denouncing the church as nothing more than "a big fat global scam". this led to Issac Hayes who plays chef departure from the show the reason for this is that issac is a firm believer in scientolgy and found it very offensive.

south parks biggest controversy is the prophet Muhammad, they showed muhammed uncensored in the episode 200 and 201 after the episodes aired a leader of Revolution Muslim, an obscure New York-based radical Muslim organization, targeted South Park’s creators for issues surrounding Muhammad. The author of the post, who goes by the username Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee, wrote on Twitter that he prayed for Allah to kill the show’s creators and “burn them in Hell for all eternity.

there have been other controversies involving, the virgin Mary, Mormonism, Steve Erwin, the mexin flag, jews, and the with apoliges to Jese Jackson episode.
