Your lungs are located inside your chest inside the ribcage.
You have two lungs.
Your lungs help you breathe in good air and breathe out bad air.
The trachea is your wind pipe. Your trachea is divided into two air passage tubes.
One tube leads to your left lung, one tube leads to your right lung. Oxygen is removed from the air you breathe and pumped into your blood cells.
Fun Facts!
1. Each adult lung is the size of a football.
2. Your lungs feel like a sponge and are a pinkish-gray.
3. An average person breathes in around 11,000 litres of air every day.
