There is a zero tolerance policy for behavior issues. Be respectful, do what is asked of you and stay out of trouble!

Summative (70%)- Tests, major essays, projects, journals

Formative (30%)- Quizzes, vocabulary activities, discussion questions, graphic organizers, home work

If you attain 20 unexcused absences you will be awarded no credit
Credit recovery will be assigned to any student who attains 5 unexcused absences in an 1 particular class in any 1 marking period.
Your time will be made up on a Saturday.
If you attain 6 unexcused absences, you will automatically receive a 60.
Come inside quietly and without distracting others.
If you are over 30 minutes late, it will count as an absence

You are not dismissed by the bell. You are dismissed by your teacher.
When directed - pack your belongings away, stand up, push your chair in, check for garbage and wait to be dismissed.

Your first assignment is to write an autobiography (I will provide an outline).
You will also be required to decorate a puzzle piece. This puzzle piece should be a reflection of you! (Interests, Goals, Quote, Picture)
