Rapiers-For the noblemen Weapons Heavy Artillery Sizes of swords Fact #1- Swords could vary in sizes from 2 1/2 feet to 6 feet long! Fact #2-The cannon was invented during the Elizabethan era, which was basically the end for castle wars since cannons were so devastating against the walls of a castle. Firearms Fact #3-All bows were ordered to be exchanged with muskets in 1595 Cavalry and Anti-cavalry Fact #4-Pikes became the perfect counter to the lances of the cavalry. Pikes were about 4 feet longer and easier to steadily aim from the ground. Fact #5-The Elizabethan era was the golden age of the heavy cavalry. Weapons
