Father was king Phillip II of Macedonia
Mother was Olympias, daughter of King Neoptolemus I of Epirus.
It Is said that once, King Phillip II Found Olympia Asleep with a Snake
Zeus Was Often Portrayed as a Snake.
As a Result Some Said that Alexander Was Really The Son Of Zeus

Alexander was originally a student to Leonidas, But at age thirteen Aristotle, a Famous Philosopher became his mentor.
The Gordian Knot
Alexander Was Able to solve the Infamous "Gordian knot" that Was said to have of been Impossible to untie. According to the prophecy, the knot could of only be undone by the person who was to rule Asia.

A horse dealer named Philonicus offered Bucephalus to King Philip II for the sum of 13 talents, but after many times trying to tame him King Philip decided that the horse was wild and not tamable and that it should be let go. Alexander who was close by Remarked "what a horse their loosing and all because they do not know how to handle him". Alexander turned it towards the sun so that it could no longer see its own shadow, which was why the horse was distress. Alexander successfully tamed the horse and After wards King Philip Was so Impressed by this that he told the boy,

Tyre Was built on an island and had Walls (200 ft above sea level ) Surrounding it
Alexander Built a Dam/Bridge Half a mile long to Connect
it took about 7 months to completely take over Tyre

Alexander entered Egypt in the beginning of 331 BC. And began its Conquest. At that time it was controlled by the Persians who eventually surrendered. The Egyptians Saw Alexander and his army as liberators since they despised living under Persian rule for almost two centuries.
In Fact They Even Recognized Alexander as a Pharaoh.

Through out his conquest one of Alexander main goals was to take over Persia and its king Darius III his goal was finally accomplished at the battle of Gaugamela were he was able to defeat the kings over whelming army, at that time the Persian Empire was seen as one of the strongest Empires in the world.
In November of 335 BC Alexander the Great visited the Delphic Oracle to know wether he will conquer the Persian king Darius, and the entire ancient world. The oracle refused to see him and told him to come in the spring . Alexander the Great was Furious at this and dragged Pythia (the priestess) by the hair out of the chamber until she screamed

On the afternoon of June 10 - 11, 323 BC, Alexander died of a mysterious illness in the palace of Nebuchadrezzar II of Babylon.
Even up to this day there is much discussion between scholars as to what the actual cause of his death was.
"O my son, look thee out a kingdom equal to and worthy of thyself, for Macedonia is too little for thee."
"Let go of me, you’re Invisible my son".
When he heard this he immediately drops her and says
