The Target Tools: After Effects CS5, Premiere Pro CS5, 3DS Max. Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS5 One Night in ‘Sauga is a simple parody poster that is based off of typical Hollywood crime action movies, starring two vigilante ex-police officers that handle justice their “own” way. The idea for the image started simply from an inside joke between two good friends, which quickly sparked inspiration for a tangible representation. The obvious irony of the picture is the portrayal of downtown Mississauga as a violent, drug infested gang-land, when in reality it is a relatively peaceful area, far on the opposite side of the spectrum from being a “bad” area, which most Mississaugians can attest to. Total completion time was in the span of four hours. Tools: Adobe InDesign A brochure for CCT305, Design & Implementation of Multimedia Documents. Focus: UTM's Blackwood Gallery.
I wanted to keep a good amount of negative space while also pushing for an asymmetrical style that still felt welcoming and warm on the inside of the brochure. Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS3 & Wacom Tablet Title: Blue Eyes This is just a portrait of an imaginary person, done using the brush tool in Photoshop. While I draw traditionally as well, digital art is just so fun to work with. Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS3 I've been a fan of the Harry Potter series for as long as I can remember. Growing up, reading this series over and over again was one of my favourite hobbies. One day I began to doodle characters, and over time my passion grew. Ultimately, I discovered a love for reproducing my pencil work digitally. Tools: Canon EOS T2i What compelled me to take this image was the movement of the wind against the plant. I felt inspired to capture this feeling and the simplicity of the nature around me as I was going for a walk on a spring day. Tools: Adobe Illustrator I created these designs for my CCT204 project to depict activities of a futuristic learning centre and the opportunities digital media has within the educational field. The Target is an open-interpretation short-narrative that was created for Professor Kathleen Hearn’s CCT353 class (Digital Media: Movie and Sound.) The film follows a young Toronto man as he tries to evade his mechanical pursuers. The production was inspired by Ricardo de Montreuil’s “The Raven” and was filmed over a period of 12 hours. Editing occupied roughly double that time. The work is an exploration in the way our media consumption changes since childhood, and the visual forms our favourite characters take. The images are presented chronologically according to the age I was first exposed to/took interest in them. Title: The Evolution of Taste - Leah Jones A perspective drawing of a Space Invasion theme room using Adobe Illustrator . - Mark Chang Tools: Adobe Illustrator Title: Space Invader Room I discovered a hidden path to the lake one summer and found this as I emerged from the edge of the forest. It was pure serenity and peace. The reflection was a perfect match of the sky above. - Natasha Hartono Title: Reflection Tools: Canon Powershot

Often erratic and raw, I address the adolescent portrayal of the self by exploring inner emotions and building exterior facades. - Nikki White Title: God And The Devil Are Raging Inside Me Tools: Digital Photograph I work as a photographer + videographer working with different clientele as I go from event to event. This image was taken nearly 2 years ago during a long and hot Engagement-Session I did with a couple. We decided to be daring and capture 3 different looks for the entire session: casual, modern & vintage. As a photographer my job includes creating technically sound images, a happy client but also making images that speak to my clients as well as my vision for the session. This image is from our last look of the shoot where both the bride and groom were dressed in traditional south Indian outfits. We were located at the top of a golf course when the heat was at its peak for the afternoon. The bride started walking from one end of the course to another, while the groom held on to her shawl and followed her. This reminds me of Aladdin and every other fairy tale out there that hovers over the cliché idea of a prince being there for his princess even for the smallest of things. The final image was post edited and graded in Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Photoshop CS4. - Joseph Amaran Fernando Tools: Nikon D90 + ALR V3 + Photoshop CS4 Title: The Indian Prince and Princess Title: The Charity
for WWII This image is a quite simple image of leaves that had fallen onto a walkway one day. What drew me to this capturing this image was the form in which the leaves sat delicately on the steps, there was something intriguing about the delicacy they held despite their harshness in appearance. Title: Fall Leaves - Caroline Hoult Title: Surge of Light When I captured this image I was most concerned with the portrayal of light, and the unique ways one can look at an object in a different way through an array of angles. This is a simple still-life image of a lightbulb within my bedroom from a high angle. When capturing this I tried to make it extremely focused and balanced within the frame, setting a very clean but effective mood. - Caroline Hoult This image was taken from my bedroom window after a rainstorm. What compelled me to take this image was the unique angle you could possibly shoot it from, and the way that it manipulated the subject and the way you view it. - Caroline Hoult Title: Variations of Flowers This image was taken from my bedroom window after a rainstorm.
