HYSYS is one of the

Causes initial separation of gas from liquid.
The heavier liquid goes down while the gas rises.
In the open area of the vessel, the stream slows even further and the larger liquid particles fall from the gas.

If a large liquid slug enters the system, an optional dump valve is triggered to quickly handle the sudden influx.

Relief Valve Installation
Every process equipment has its own MAWP (maximum allowable working pressure)

To keep the process equipment from exceeding its MAWP
designed to protect the process equipment by lets off steam when safe pressures are
exceeded, then closes again when pressure drops to the safe level.
A back pressure regulator maintains upstream pressure at the desired setting by opening to allow excess upstream pressure to flow downstream.
In conclusion, a PFD can be simulated using the HYSYS software. A PID also can be designed based on the
flowsheet. Each equipment has its
own purpose. Different line size can be were used for different phase flow. All these can be designed with the help of HYSIS software. From the design simulated, the values of the
