Transcript of Attendance

Attendance Recovery Policy
To provide an opportunity for students to make up excessive absences for the sake of credit only.
Will have no effect on truancy issues.
Attendance in the after school program is voluntary.
Tuesdays and Thursdays
2:35 pm - 4:35 pm
Make up 4 hours a week by staying Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours each day.
Time will count hour for hour.
Every hour spent after school will make-up one hour of class.
Students are to arrive on time and must be in dress code (Including ID)
To sign in listing the teacher and course for which they are making up time.
To work on productive academic tasks such as homework, reading a novel, working on a project, or completing work on Compass Learning as assigned.
To attend the whole session. If they leave before the teacher dismisses, their time will not count.
If a student is asked to leave due to a problem ( i.e. not working, disrupting others, disrespect, cell phone, etc) the time will not count.
No cell phones, food, drink, games, cards, or sleeping will be allowed
Can make up no more than 7 days per class beyond maximum allowed.
With 10 or more absences will receive notification of opportunity to make up class time.
Teachers will receive notification from Attendance Secretary of time made up so they may update roll accordingly.
Arrange transportation before you stay!
