Accreditation Information:
MSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, specialist, and doctorate degrees
The Baccalaureate Nursing Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
Practicum Information:
Practicum completed in your local community
You just need to be licensed in the state where your completing your practicum
You can take NURB 326, NURB 327, and any support course before you are required to apply to the program
You are required to be officially admitted to the program before you can register for NURB 361, NURB 424, NURB 461, NURB 498, & NURB 499C
To be officially admitted to the program, you just need to have all pre-req's completed with a "C" or above, 2.5 or higher pre-req GPA, & an active RN license with no restrictions
Step #2 - How to apply to MSU:

1. Apply online on the Admissions website (www.moreheadstate.edu/futurestudents)
2. $30 Application Fee
3. Request official transcripts to be sent to Admissions
Step #3 - Register for classes through your MYMOREHEADSTATE student account
Application Deadline:

Last Friday in March for the fall semester
Last Friday in October for the spring semester
The department will accept late applications
