Transcript of Prophet Muhammad Passes to Jannah

Prophet Muhammad Passes to Jannah
By the year 632, Islam had become triumphant in all of Arabia.
All had changed, idols were destroyed and Allah alone was worshiped.
The new Islamic society was formed based on belief in God alone, Prophethood and life after death - Tawheed.

By then, Prophet Muhammad's mission had neared completion and the Muslims wanted to perform Hajj. So the Prophet (PBUH) left Madina for several reasons:
to perform Hajj for the first time
to meet Muslims from all over Arabia
to teach them their faith and its rituals
to bear witness to the truth
to give his final instructions by delivering an oath for Muslim to follow his teachings and to get rid of Jahiliyah completely

Allah prepared Muslims for the Prophet's passing
Allah order the Prophet to perform Hajj with Muslims from all over Arabia

"Today I have completed for you your religion, and granted you the last of My blessings I have chosen Islam as your way of life" [Surat-un-Nisaa']

Prophet Muhammad fell ill 2 months after performing the Farewell Hajj at Maymoona's house. The Sahaba brought him to Aisha's house for the best care possible because she was the youngest and the most capable. Also because she was the daughter of Abu Bakr Al-Sideeq.
The Last Sermon
On the
8th of Rabi'0ul-Awwal
he learned that the Muslims were worried for him and wanted to speak to them one last time:

"You seem worried for me... There's a slave among the slaves of Allah to whom God has offered the choice between this world and that which is with Him, and the slave has chosen that which is with God."

Abu Bakr wept and said:
" We would truly sacrifice our wealth, our fathers and mothers to save you if we could."

The Prophet then replied:
"I paid back the favors of everyone toward me, except for the favors of Abu Bakr I leave that to Allah".

Prophet Muhammad then preached to the Muslims for the last time
More than a hundred thousand Muslims performed Hajj with Prophet Muhammad
"I am not worried on you that you may live as poor. Rather I am concerned that you will compete on the worldly life, like the nations before you did. So it will ruin you as it destroyed the. I advise you to take good care of your woman. And take care of your prayer, take care of your prayer, take care of your prayer."
Prophet Muhammad appointed Abu Bakr to lead the prayers when he felt too weak to do so. This was an indication from Prophet Muhammad that if he leaves, Abu Bakr should lead the Muslims and should be the Khalifa.
The Prophet's Passes Away
On the morning of the 12th day of Rabi'-ul-Awwal of the 11th year of Hijrah, Prophet Muhammad passed away while lying in his wife Aisha's lap.

The news of the Prophet's death caused the Sahaba anguish and Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab entered a state of denial. He unsheathed his sword ans swore to slay the "hypocrites" who claimed that Prophet Muhammad had died.
This news was so distressing to Muslims because it was Prophet Muhammad who led them out of Jahilliya to Islam and true knowledge.
Abu Bakr (Prince of the Believers) pronounces the Prophet's passingن
"He who worships Muhammad should be informed that Muhammad has died. He who worships Allah should know that Allah is ever-living and does not die."

Abu Bakr then recieted a verse from Surat Ali 'Imran:

"Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful."
Fatima's Secret!
During his illness, Fatima visited him everyday. One day he whispered 2 secrets into her ears. One that made her cry and the next making her laugh.

After her father's death, Fatima revealed the secret:
First he told her that
he would die soon
- this made Fatima cry.
Then he told her that
she would soon follow him and Allah will make her join him in Jannah
- this made her laugh.
Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Umar bin Al-Khattab were burried at near each side of Prophet Muhammad's grave in Aisha's room.
