The robotic is multi-functional, for example it can carry four hundred ISIDS of equipment and help soldiers. The Big Dog is the alpha male of the Boston Dynamics robot. It is a rough-terrain robot that runs at 4mph, climbs slope up to 3.5 degrees, walks in the snow, and carries heavy loads. References:

For example the robot can be told to go forward three steps then turn left and walk three steps. The Big Dog is controlled by a computer system that keeps it balanced and navigates. It has been constructed to carry supplies and march with the military soldiers. 2. Where is the robot used? The Big Dog robot was used in the Army, Marines, and Navy.

Big Dog has a stereo vision system and a control system. This helps the robot Big Dog with joint position, joint force, ground load, and ground contact. The type of jobs/careers for the big dog robot are Software Perception Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Advanced Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineering Technician, Helpdesk Technician, and Electrical Engineering Co-Op. 7. The Big Dog robot can perform dangerous tasks for example: going into battlefield and carrying heavy materials, food, supplies, can run 2.5 hours, and can carry what we cannot carry. In the future the Big Dog can be valuable because it can carry groceries, vehicles, and equipment. The future for the Big Dog robot is to improve a robot that can go anywhere people and animals can go. Also, it will be created with eye-like sensors that allow it to become “unleashed” by making clever decisions about a journey. To add Boston Dynamics have said that it will soon be succeeded by even faster, stronger model. It has been built to carry supplies and march alongside troops in rough terrain such as in Iraq, and has attracted millions of viewers. A Power House
