Radiologic Technologist (aka) radiographers take x-rays which are images inside the human body, also computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. Radiologic Technologist are also usually responsible for writing reports and maintaining the equiptment. Employment Areas:

Some work in medical labs
Clinics
Doctors/Dentists offices
Some private industries Clients you will serve...
Ones who need help finding a diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury. Education or on the job training or certifications needed are...
2-4 year program in radiography that leads to a certificate, associates degree, or bachelors.
High school deplpma
After graduating from an approved program, you can take an exam leading to get a registration by the American Registry of Radio logic Technologists.
With further training, and experience, registered Technologists can become certified in radiation therapy technology or nuclear medicine technology. Colleges
