Transcript of European
Organization that gathers young, dynamic, innovative and little special people from all over Europe in order to discus world problems.
The European youth parliament is a non governmental, non profit, youth organization present in 41 countries across Europe.
It was established in 1987 in Fontainebleau, France, founded by Bettina Carr-Allinson at her own kitchen table. And now, 28 years later it involves 40,000 youngsters from all around Europe in its events and has around 5,000 active members in the different countries.
Sessions are divided in three parts:
Committee work (CW)
General Assembly (GA)
We sing, we dance, and we solve the most random tasks that gets us closer in order to make a good team
Delegates from all over the Europe put their heads together to tackle current European topics and creating innovative and daring solutions. Results are gathered in a resolution.
Every committee presents its resolution, which is then defended, attacked, debated and voted on.
There is much more to EYP then just pure politics that keeps us motivated and well, awake.
Delegates from different countries bring their food specialties that make NSC and ISC very interesting.
Special kind of games that help you get back on your feet and concentrate better.
Pass the giggle
For tons of sleepless nights, 20 slept hours in 10 days, you'll need a sweet little potion called coffee to cure your sleepiness and stress. After all, who needs sleep? EYP-ers don't!
