Copy of Riot games:
Transcript of Copy of Riot games:
The company riot games is the owner of "league of legends" and created a licensing partnership with GOA, a division of Orange S.A. (evidence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_Games)
Just to clarify that Riot games is an independent company now and that it's product is public and that their game "league of legends" has spread through Europe, america, indonesia, Russia and more. this means its a big independent company and they're multinational going across the world.
Products of Riot games is league of legends but they did make some side games as part of april fools and was out for few days which does mean that riot only owns one game.
As for Riot for having any competitors they have been competing against other MOBA games such as like DOTA 2 and heroes of newbrth for a while and has been getting more trouble from World of Warcraft. riot games has had the more advantage over these games as they are the number 1 most played game on pc.
The purpose of league of legends is to use your mind and creates tactical plays throughout the game. But in the cinematic it shows what happens in a game but in a better perspective.
it is a multiplayer online battle arena and its based of a non-fictional world. its also a strategy, action game which involves non-fictional characters, its also a 5v5 and 3v3 pvp game.
Riot games: league of legends cinematic
How it's promoted?
How it influences on the audience?
Legaue of legends used to be a boxed cd with a collectors pack and was sold offf shelves, but they dont do that anymore and instead promote their games by putting out tournaments, cinematics and if players are looking for moba games such as like dota then this one does the job.
the kind of audience riot succeeds for is usually around the teenage area mostly around 12 and above, they want anyone that love MOBA games. This game does include a bit of in game purchases but you get choices and as the player you have a choice of whether you want to use money or not because this is a free game but the game itelf do include skins.
Due to tencent being the owner of riot games they've kept this information private and because of this i wasnt able to collect any information for this part.
But before tencent had own riot, riot used to be on their own as their own company until tencent bought them.
This is viewed as a cinematic, this shows how the game would look like with a bit more realism and more in depth with the 3d models.
Firstly they do a drawing of how they're going to appear in the cinematic, secondly they are modelled and then finally they render and colour the models then animating the models.
The type of style this cinematic uses a
fantasy, action style as well as a bit comical
and over the top style, like the part in the cinematic where the guy makes a massive leap and brings down his axe shows how over the top it is.
in this cinematic it has different angle shots with no narrative sturcture, this allow viewers to get full concentration on the cinematic, the mise en scene/the setting or the background is set in a forest.
The cinematic was created through tecchniques, so for this instance it would be the modelling software and the animating software.
This impacts the audience in a more positive way because this can definitely test the mind as it is a stratergy game, it can negatively impact the audience because of the community being bit off but most people avoid it.
I dont believe it represents any kind of stereotype or racist act but it does include a bit of violence.
from most reviews of the game most of the audience say that league of legends have been copyrighting dota which is true due to the fact that some dota creators and blizzard creators actually put this game together.
