Teacher/Student
-Each time the student finishes a problem correctly (with the manipulatives and on the paper), the student receives another pretzel. Repeat 10 times.
Chaining
Teacher/Student
1) Presents the problem 1/2 + 1/4.

2) Shows the student how to find common denominators.

3) Shows how to show the problem with the pizza fraction manipulatives again.

4) Writes the problem on the worksheet.

Teacher

Shows the student 2 1/2 + 3 1/4.
