Moons
Neptune's distance from the sun is 1.4 billion km and 9.58 A.U.
Neptune has 13 known moons.
The largest of Neptune’s moons is Triton, which was discovered by William Lassell just 17 days after Neptune itself was discovered.

The diameter of neptune is 30,599 miles (49,244 km)
The mass of Neptune is 102.4x10 kg .
PRIMARY CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND
ATMOSPHERE
Neptunes chemical composition is 80% molecular hydrogen (H2) , 19% helium (HE) and methane (CH4) 1.5%.
Neptunes atmosphere is -220 degrees and its core is extremley hot its 5150 degrees celcius, hotter than the surface of the sun.

Voyager 2 closest approach to Neptune was on August 25,1989. Since neptune is the last planet in our solar system they wanted to also get a picture of Triton , one of neptunes most known moon.
There has been no landings on neptune the farthest man has ever gone is our moon.
