Transcript of Jonah and the Whale

The LORD gave a command to Jonah to speak to the city of Nineveh. The LORD prepared a great whale to swallow up Jonah. JONAH AND THE WHALE Jonah refused and fleed the city on a ship. The LORD sent a storm and Jonah went overboard.
He was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights.
Jonah cried out to the LORD heard him and spoke to the whale. Jonah was freed and the whale brought him to land. Jonah finally spoke to the city of Nineveh and the LORD spared the city Jonah was displeased with this turn around, and left the city again. The LORD allowed the sun to beat on Jonah. He wished he were dead, so he cried out to the LORD again. The LORD saved Jonah yet
again and taught him a lesson: that
if he deserved to be saved that HE would also save
the city of Nineveh.
