New Year
Worldwide Celebrations
Happens between December 31th and January 1st; it's the time when the Gregorian Calendar ends, it is celebrated with fireworks at the stroke of midnight as the new year starts in each time zone.
New Year
Is one of the most prominent celebrations in the country and it is a tradition to go to New York to celebrate New Year with the "ball drop" in Times Square, Manhattan.

It is also common for North American's to spend New Year's Eve at Disney's Downtown Florida, with fireworks at the stroke of midnight.
E.E.U.U
The tradition starts, eating with family, wearing new cloth, and red underwear. The most important celebration in Spain is in Madrid, where the family gather and eat 12 grapes one for each wish they want, one with each chime from the clock of Puerta del Sol.
Spain
Russia
Most russians celebrate New Year with family and friends, the traditions says that 2 hours before midnight they should start remembering all the good things they did on the last 12 months.
Argentina
It is a tradition to burn dolls in La Plata, eating traditional dishes with the family , and just before midnight, people flock to the streets to enjoy fireworks and light firecrackers. The celebration is during summer and is common to celebrate it at the beach
Brazil
New Year is one of Brazil's main holidays; it officially marks the beginning of the summer holidays, which last until Carnival. They meet with friends and family at restaurants and also at the beach.
Venezuela
Normally the radio starts a countdown
to announce the New Year, also Caracas' Cathedral bell rings 12 times, and during this time they broadcast songs about the end of the year. Traditions include wearing yellow underwear, eating jam bread, eating grapes, and pulling a suitcase around the house.
Australia
Each major city in Australia holds New Year's Eve celebrations, usually accompanied by a fireworks display and other events.The largest celebration in Australia is held in its largest city; Sydney. Each year, the celebrations in Sydney are accompanied by a theme with two pyrotechnic shows at the harbor.
China
In China, although the celebrations of the Lunar New Year are not until a few weeks after the Gregorian New Year, celebrations of the Gregorian New Year are held in some areas, particularly in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xiamen.
As we know, each celebration is celebrated in a different way depending on the place and we will see some of the places were it is celebrated
