Success Criteria A diagnostic before we begin... Next steps What do you think?: What is the difference between an anchor (chart), instructions and success criteria? Do I have enough TIME to co-create criteria with students? What are your initial thoughts about some of your responses to these statements? S.E.F 1.1 - Students and teachers share a common understanding of the learning goals and related success criteria. Giving feedback on the success criteria helps build growth mindset (self-direction) and motivation in students.
I am identifying strategies to use success criteria to foster student learning (not to mention my own learning) How will I know when I am using success criteria to foster learning?
How will I know when 'we' are doing it well? LEARNING GOAL Does this stuff really engage students? Consider some examples
