Double click anywhere & add an idea How a Bill becomes a law The Bill is propsed to the Senate and the House The Standing committees look over the Bill The committee ether decides to kill the Bill of to send it to the floor Congress debates the bill and votes wether to continue with the bill or kill it Then it is sent to the other house and the same thing happens over again then it goes to the conference committee and if they pass it, it goes to the President The president has ten days to veto the bill, Sign the bill into law or do nothing If the Bill is vetoed it is sent back to the senate and house and they have to vote again. If they vote 2/3 for the Bill it is pass other wise the Bill dies
