DEAN WINCHESTER
How do even begin to describe Dean Winchester? Over the years he has been described as a lot of things: a hunter, a high-school cad, the righteous man, a rebel with a cause, a young Fox Mulder, an eighties metal fan, the anti-chick-flick-moment, a hero. The list goes on.

But if you asked him how he would describe himself, then he would probably say that he's just a guy, trying to do his best in a world that sometimes won't let him. Dean Winchester would not say he fights for justice; he would probably tell you that he fights because he can, because he doesn't know how not to. Of course Dean Winchester wouldn't actually ever SAY any of this, because he doesn't do girl talk (Unlike Sammy).

I feel as my words can not do Dean Winchester justice, there is so so much more to say about him than I've done. Like how he went to hell just to save his brother, or how he's fighting both Heaven and Hell in order to escape a destiny he never asked for or how he's deep and caring even though he pretends to be tough and dislike feelings, or how he don't know how to say "I love you" so he says "I need you" instead.

To properly describe Dean Winchester I would need several hours and more words then exist, and even though I don't think I could make him justice.

But even though he won't give himself credit for what he's doing, it doesn't change that fact that he's an amazing man. He's caring and protective and loyal to a fault, he even went to hell just to save his brother.

A man who fights both Heaven and Hell in order to escape a destiny he never wished for.

He busted out of Heaven. He busted of of Hell. For God sakes he busted out of Purgatory. If that isn't a picky little bugger then I don't know what.
As you've probably already realized, the two main characters are Sam and Dean Winchester. But in the fourth season, this (motherfucker waltzes in and fuck us all up) angel, Castiel, walks in changes that.

They make up Team Free Will and together they are the most badass trio you'll ever encounter.. yeah *cough*

Castiel
You can't simply put an label on Misha. He's everything and nothing.

I don't really know how to describe Castiel. But I guess that before he met Dean you could describe him as an obedient soldier without feelings. He did as he was told no matter what, he never questioned his superiors or even thought for himself.
But after meeting Dean, something changed. He started to feel, something that should be impossible for an angel, and he started to question things. His new doubts made him rebel against Heaven and team up with Dean. And since then a lot of things have changed, he's become this kind of awkward thing.

But enough about Dean, let's move on.

DESTIEL
You've probably been wondering for a while now how romance could have anything to do with Supernatural. For many, it hasn't anything to do with it. But for the more observant, it has. Dean and Castiel love each other, maybe not like normal people love each other, but then again they are not normal people. They are complicated at best, and so is their love. And the only way I felt that I could possibly explain their love was by telling you how important their relationship is to each other and what it means to them.

Destiel is important because Dean, his entire life, has been nothing more than a category; some kind of Person Capital P with a title thrust on him that he didn’t choose. He was Daddy’s Blunt Little Instrument, Sammy’s Protector, Best Damn Hunter, Big Strong Manly Man —all of these thrust on him without him wanting them. He’s never had a “himself”, he has only been the person others expect of him.

Castiel, similarly, has only ever been a tool of Heaven; an Angel of the Lord, an obedient soldier (just like Dean) who acted as nothing more than what he was intended to be. Even the angels around him had emotions and opinions and personalities. Castiel did not. He was an Angel of the Lord, no feelings, no thoughts save for to do as he was ordered.

Then Castiel pulled Dean from Hell, and all that changed.

Dean had never once thought himself as worthy of being saved; all he’d done his entire life was be told it was his job to do the saving, and that is what he did. He saved others; people didn’t save him. He’s a tool, unimportant, and for once, he is Saved; Saved by God, Heaven, by an Angel of the friggin’ Lord, and he is important.

Heaven called him the Righteous Man; the one who broke the first seal, but Cas? To Cas he is Dean Winchester. A person, a human, someone of his own self. He’s a man who loves to drive his Impala, who loves pie and eating, who dresses in layers and says bitch and takes care of his little brother and saves people and hunts things and smiles with his eyes when he means it but smiles with his mouth when people are looking and he doesn’t want them to know how tired he is. He likes ballet and soap operas and Dr Sexy; he hits on deputies and checks out soldiers and admires Ness and cowboys.

Cas rebuilt him; pieced him back together in every way possible; physically, emotionally, metaphorically. He’s marked him with his hand; pulled him from the Pit, and most importantly, begun to think for himself.

Before Dean, Cas did not feel. He felt for the first time after Dean; now he, similarly, has become a himself to have. Through Dean he’s learned that he feels, he loves, he has anger and pride and confidence; he believes in free will and that he doesn’t need orders, but can make his own assumptions and have his own opinions. He’s sacrificed everything for Dean; he rebelled for Dean and he stares at Dean; learns from Dean, learns to be human and be himself through Dean, is loved and accepted as himself by Dean, no longer a tool or Castiel, Angel of the Lord, but Cas, the angel with rusty people skills, who doesn’t understand references, stands too close to Dean, always comes when he prays, doesn’t put on his tie right, and for the first time, he is those things; before that, he was another obedient face in the crowd of angels who didn’t think for themselves.

This is all canon. It’s the story of a man who didn’t believe he should be saved and then became saved by an angel who didn’t have a self; and now they’re both discovering themselves through each other, loving each other, saving each other and protecting each other, thinking for themselves because of each other.

Cas is the only person Dean can be himself around and vice-versa.

Cas is a genderless, sexless being larger than the Chrysler building, whose true form and voice would obliterate Dean; he is incredibly powerful and over 400 million years old, and he loves (of that there is no doubt) one tiny person; one man, who is merely one guy in a sea of humanity that Cas has watched for longer than we can comprehend, and he is important. Dean is important to Cas.

Dean was told his entire life he was watched by angels (which he was) but he never believed it. He had no faith in God, in Heaven, in things he couldn’t see or touch, and all along they had watched him. And now one of them cares about him enough to rethink 400 million years and God and himself?

This is us staring at the vast universe, realizing we are in the grand scheme of things meaningless; one speck on another larger speck in the speck of the universe; nothing and meaningless and then finding out that universe loves us anyway.

Unlike most others I decided not to write about a film, but about a TV-show. It's called Supernatural and it's one of my favorites.
As I may have told you on a earlier occasion I'm not that fond of opinions. Which is a lie, a big lie. In truth I really do like opinions, I just don't like sharing them with people, unless it's about sexualities, feminism, sexism, racism or another important issue that concern social justice. But seeing as this don't, I'm not that fond of giving my opinion on this specific matter.

But I can say that I love the show, it has a great plot and amazing characters and you never get bored of it. It always happens so much all the time, and it sometimes really weird. Like in on episode there where a talking teddy bear with depression and alcohol problem, and in another they got Paris Hilton to play a pagan god that ate people.

But what I like the most about Supernatural is that it's not just about family on screen. This show has brought together thousands of different people from all across the world and given them something to bond over. Thanks to Supernatural I have made so many friends. I have Alex in the US and Marcia in Poland, and it's kind of amazing like that. If it wouldn't have been for Supernatural we would never have gotten to know each other.

And the Supernatural fandom isn't just a fandom, it's a family. Everyone is kind towards everyone, and if anyone's getting hate then the rest of them are immediately there to comfort them and it's just amazing. And that we are the fandom that has a gif for EVERYTHING isn't that bad either.

I watched 100 episodes, each 40 minutes long, in two weeks. That was a wild ride from start to finish, let me tell you that.

Never has the universe been as unfair towards one person. But despite everything Sam's been trough, he's still kind and gentle. He is the kind of person who loves puppies and wants nothing more than to his family and friends to be happy and safe. Unlike his brother he doesn't really want to hunt, he'd rather live a normal life. Which was why he rebelled against his father as a teen and left for Stanford to study to become a lawyer. If it weren't for the fact that his girlfriend burned up on the ceiling, he'd probably never gone back to hunting.

couldn't for anything shoot a deer, when finding an abandoned dog takes it in and gives it shelter and the kind of person to protect and love you despite what. He's a hero, willing to sacrifice his life for the greater good.

He loves puppies, he eats and live a healthy lifestyle, and he's just suck an amazing person.

gentle person, despite everything he's been trough

He's a puppy who always get hurt without deserving it

This is Sam, Dean's younger brother. When I think of him I think intelligent, but also rebellious. When younger he always fought with his father, and when old enough he rebelled against him and left for Stanford.
Jensen Ackles is a gift from the heavens to prove to humanity that men can be both absolutely and perfectly gorgeous (like “please gouge my eyes out right now because I want the last thing I ever see to be the glorious face of Jensen Ackles” gorgeous) - AND - be sweet, kind, loyal, loving, funny, and completely dedicated to his family.
One does not simply describe Misha Collins, and after trying for several hours to write about him I more or less gave up. And I'm not the only one having problems describing him, the term "Misha being Misha" is a fandom tag - and when the fandom is at lost for words you know you've got something special. And he is special, he's really special.

He's sarcastic, interesting, hilarious, provoking, energetic, insane, marvelous, mesmerizing, adorable, witty, intelligent, fearless and really, really fucking weird (in a good way).

He went into a goddamn bathtub full of ice, apparently naked, for the sake of the ALS ice bucket challenge.

He likes to make people dress in food, I've seen a lot of dresses made out of vegetables, and once he asked his followers on twitter to tape beacon to their faces and they did.

He is one of the weirdest persons with some of the weirdest fans
MISHA COLLINS
Supernatural has 10 seasons, and since it would take to long time to tell you everything I've decided to only tell you about the first season. That way I won't spoil you to bad either if you decide to pick up on the show.

When Sam Winchester was just an infant, his mother was brutally killed in a fire. When his father learned the truth about her death he made it his life quest to seek revenge on the evil creature that killed her. He learned everything about supernatural beings and how to kill them, and he raised Sam and his older brother Dean to become hunters. Dean was eager to follow in his footsteps, learning the trick of the trade. Sam on the other hand, was determined to break free from the "family business", and left home as soon as he graduated from high school, to start a "normal" life on his own.
Just as his new life was going perfectly with an upcoming interview at a prestigious law school and a beautiful girlfriend by his side, Dean arrived at Sam’s doorstep to let his brother know that their father had gone on a hunting trip and hadn't been home in a few of days. Upon hearing the news, Sam, though reluctant, had no choice but to help Dean track down their father.
On the road together, Sam and Dean begun to reunite after spending several years apart, and along the way they track down and kill evil supernatural beings, picking up the tradition of the "family business".
However, during their journey, old sibling rivalries resurface, and the effects of their strange upbringing are shown. Sam remains wary of their father and mission while Dean, although cocky and fearless on the surface, still tries to come to grips with his mother’s horrific death. But together with their different views and personalities, Sam and Dean are able to save lives by destroying the evil beings that haunt the earth.
Dean and Sam dying is so casual that it’s in the Netflix description for this episode
I thought really hard about how to describe Castiel, since he is my favorite out of the trio. But the only thing came to my mind was "he gives me the feels".

Which isn't too strange, because he changes more or less all the time, in season four, when he was first introduced, he was a stone faced soldier, in season five he was awkward and socially inept, in season six he had an existential crise and he ended up working with a demon, in season seven he was God for a period before breaking down and turning slightly insane. So..
DON'T FUCKING DARE TOUCH MY BABIES
I deeply apologize for my terrible presentation, but this is how it gets when I try to "simplify" my language to "suit" everyone.
This picture gives nothing to presentation and it takes a lot of time unnecessary time, but it took me a lot of time to make and I don't want to have wasted several hours of my life in vain.

The dots and lines shows all the places the episodes have taken place in up until season five, where I gave up.
Jared Padalecki is referred to by the fandom as a 6ft 4 moose with puppy eyes.
Just a small warning if you decide to pick up on the show, Sam and Dean has this bad habit of dying a lot.

Well, everyone dies. So don't get attached to anyone, because they will die.

It's a very depressing show. But it's worth the pain.

Sam Winchester, Dean's younger brother. Growing up on the road and in different motel rooms, Sam knows nothing of having a real home or an ordinary life. And every time he's tried to get it, something has always intervened.

His father. His brother. A demon. Heaven. Hell.

Despite that, he's not angry or bitter. He's kind, goodhearted, sweet. He always does his best to help people, even though he never gets anything in return.

He loves books, and reading, and should have become a lawyer if he's father hadn't gone missing.

He's kind of the puppy of the fandom, the one everyone want to wrap up into a blanket and feed soup to, because he, much like Dean, just don't deserve everything he's been trough.
Dean and Castiel are not actually together in the show, not yet at least. That means there isn't really one long clip of them being cute together, but many short ones. And with short I mean around half a minute.

What I'm going to show you know is a clip of Dean and Castiel in season eight, episode seventen. They are not very love-lovely with each other, but it was the only one I could find that was a bit longer.

Context: Castiel has been brainwashed by Naomi, the women with brown hair, and is ordered to kill Dean and take the angel tablet (the grey square thing).

And the reason I choose this clip is because, even though Dean was being beaten to a pulp he didn't even once try to fight back. There is only four people in the entire world that he doesn't fight back against, and Cas is one of them. Because he loves him.

Instead he uses his words, he talks to him. He says that they are family and that he needs him, which to Dean means everything. Since that is the only love he has ever known.

And just by talking, he manages to break trough to Cas. He manages to make him stop, even though Naomi brainwashed him and forced him to kill thousands of replicas of Dean.

And when Cas reaches down to heal Dean, he first thinks he's going to land the final blow. But despite that he still leans into the touch.

And to me, that speaks a lot about what they feel for each other.
