Transcript of What is Culture?

about GEOGRAPHY...
But first let's briefly introduce our study of
World Cultures
!
So what is culture?
it describes human behavior
it is something we learn and pass down to each generation
it is EXPRESSIVE
it is in the thoughts & knowledge in the minds of people
its tied to the ENVIRONMENT we live in
It's important to know there are
two
types of Culture...
This is
material culture
things or objects that humans have shaped for their use
think about the minerals, animals, plants, and seeds we use to make items of value
