Digital Storytelling for Teachers. INTEF
Newborn to the virtual world.
In this module I introduced myself to the course and learned about Acceptable Use Policy.

In this module I learned about creating an avatar to represent one's virtual image. Voki was the best tool since you can add voice to it.
I also discovered a lot of webtools to create comic strips and short stories, which I think can be very useful for some classroom activities...introducing themselves, giving opinions, finishing off longer stories...
I enjoyed creating my own comic strip using make belief
In this module stories went big. Using a storyboard to plan your story and one of the many video-editing tools presented will allow you to create richer and more complex stories.

All together now.
In this module stories went communal. We learned about collaborative tools that will allow people to contribute to a story. I discovered Padlet, which I think is a great tool both for teachers and learners.
We also evaluated some collaborative projects. I did my evaluation on The Global Hello Project.

On the go.
In this module we learned about webtools and apps we can use on our mobile devices. I liked Animoto.
We also studied some web based apps. I liked Historypin. I think it can be used with my students for some tasks involving topics such as my town, biographies, trips...
My comments on Historypin: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzjWg9Dr-eFEdDNzUjMyM0ZWYlU/edit?pli=1
My favourite tool: Movie Maker. It allows you to create videos to tell stories and you can work offline and, important, it will be ads-free.
My favourite activity: A lesson plan. In the end all this is about teaching and learning and creating a lesson plan that will integrate all these resources into something useful as a teacher was a great challenge and very rewarding
