The 6 convict ships were:
The Alexander
The Charlotte
The Lady Penrhyn
The Prince of Wales
The Scarborough
The First Fleet started in 1787 and ended in 1788.
Captain Arthur Phillip sailed with the first fleet
Between 1788 and 1850 the English sent over 162,000 convicts to Australia in 806 ships.
Before 1788 Australia was populated by about 300,000 aboriginals.
The first fleet came from Londen Gazette in 1788
