Chromalveolates I'm writing about the black panther. The name of the black panther's genus is panthera and its species is a panther. It's features are black, dark brown, its skin type is fur, long body, small head, strong jaw,s emerald green eyes, can roar, and is one of the largest felines.

The black panther's habitat is in the rainforest, marshland, woodlands, swamps, savannahs, and even mountains and deserts. The panther eats medium size mammals, like gazelles, deer, antelopes, and monkeys. The food it hunts will give the panther energy. The panther uses its whiskers, head, and its nose to seek their prey.

The panther walks on four legs.It grows by eating food and consuming its preys' energy. Black panthers generally respond to their environment fairly well.

I chose to do a report on the black panther because it's one of the most interesting felines ever. I've seen one at the Jacksonville Zoo in Florida. I thought it was a pretty cool and strong mammal.
