Presente de Subjuntivo 1. The Present Sunjunctive is not strictly a tense; it is a mood.

2. Refers to an action that takes place (past, present, future), while mood basically reflects how the speaker feels about the action There is no clear way to tell if a verb will be irregular or not.
One just has to memorize them.
Here are a few of the most used irregular present subjunctive verbs. Dar Decir Ir

Samantha Reaves Presente de Subjuntivo Presente de Subjuntivo The present subjunctive is formed by following these three steps:

1. Start with the yo form of the present indicative.

2. Then drop the -o ending.

3. Finally, add the following endings:
-ar verbs:
-e, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, en

-er and -ir verbs:
-a, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an car, gar, zar, ger, guir For verbs that end in car, gar, zar, ger, and guir the present subjunctive has special rules.

For Verbs that end in -Zar, the Z changes to -c.

For verbs that end in -car, the c changes to -qu.

For verbs that end in -gar, the g will change to -gu.

For verbs that end in -ger, the g changes to -j.
