Rights Respecting Schools Award
A Rights Respecting School is one with the values of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at its heart.
So What is it?
Everyone learns to use the language of rights, respect and responsibility

Adults and young people model rights-respecting behaviour and language

Where children become active global citizens

Where children gain a powerful voice
RRSA schools are schools where...
How does it work?
From September you will be helping to work towards this award with Tutor time activities, in certain lessons and outside of school
How will the Voyager be working towards this?
UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation focusing on children and child rights, with a presence in more than 190 countries and territories.

They believe that every child has the right to the best possible start in life. It is wrong for children to die needlessly; it is imperative to prevent their unnecessary deaths. Every child has the right to the highest standards of health and education. It is imperative to work to attain these standards.
What is UNICEF?
We will base our work on the overall declaration of human rights
