One way to avoid animal products is to follow a vegan diet.
Vegan= Those who choose not to eat meat, dairy (milk, cheese, etc.), eggs, or anything else with animal products.
Although many people may be skeptical
about a vegan diet, modern science has
now proven that a vegan diet can benefit
EVERYONE of ALL age groups, in all
stages of life!

It is dietician recommended for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and even the elderly.
Fun Scientific fact: Vegans have a longer average lifespan
than people who eat animal products!
If you are like most Americans, you may have been exposed to this slogan for years. But where do these posters, television and radio ads come from?


Key word: ADVERTISEMENTS.
These campaigns are all designed, produced and funded by the American Dairy Association. In other words,
those who make money
from the sales of milk and dairy.
...You don't need it.
Know Your Sources
Myth: Milk is important for Calcium and strong bones.
You don’t need milk, or large amounts of calcium, for bone health. In fact, the highest rates of bone fractures and Osteoporosis are in milk-drinking countries. The key to bone strength is lifelong exercise and vitamin D, not the calcium found in milk.
Ever since scientists and doctors realized the huge benefits of veganism, there have been TONS of non-dairy milks, yogurts, ice creams, butters and other foods showing up which are just as tasty if not more so than animal's milk! These options can be found in almost ANY grocery store- no inconvenience! These options are also much more sustainable for the environment, and don't have the chemicals which are in dairy products.
But what will I put on my cereal and use for cooking?
Almond milk, Coconut milk, Oat Milk, Soy milk, Hemp milk, Grain Milk and Rice milk come in many flavors, including vanilla and chocolate.

As of 2015, Objective research from hundreds of scientific sources concludes that diets including meat, dairy, and other animal products are directly related to conditions such as heart disease, bipolar disorder, acne, PMS, the flu, bronchitis and other respiratory infections, metabolic disorders, asthma, eczema, diabetes, organic mental disorder and depression.

Many doctors and nutritionists go so far as to say that animal consumption CAUSES many of these diseases. These include several types of cancer, high blood pressure, and the number one killer in the US- Heart Disease.
How often do you get sick?
Through modern science, we now know that there are extreme disadvantages of eating animal products, and no benefits as we once thought. In the nutrition community, it is no secret that animal products are extremely harmful to humans, without exception of age, gender, culture or race.
Most Common Causes of Death in the US
Here’s something to consider:

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vegetarians and vegans tend to be markedly more healthy than meat and dairy eaters, particularly when it comes to mental health and heart health.
• Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. People of all ages and backgrounds get the fatal condition, many without knowing they have it until it is
too late.
• In 2008, over 616,000 people died of heart disease- that's almost one in every four people.
• Heart disease is the leading cause of death for most ethnicities in the United States, including African Americans, Hispanics, and Caucasians. For American Indians or Alaska Natives and Asians, heart disease is second only to cancer, which is also now being linked to dairy and meat-laden diets.
•Diet is the biggest risk factor in heart disease, and research continues to show animal product ingestion is a strong indicator of heart disease development.
-Victims are getting younger, which is currently attributed to the rise in consumption of meat and dairy products, due to the cheap factors cost of chemicals and production.
Vegan:
A person who chooses not consume animal products. This includes meat, eggs, cheese, milk, and other dairy.

Vegetarian:
A person who chooses not to
eat meat. This includes beef, chicken, fish and pork. Veganism
is also known as strict vegetarianism.
Terms
Lactose Intolerance is the difficulty of digesting lactose, a sugar found in milk and milk products, which causes digestive disruption including stomach pain. This is a natural occurrence, as the human body doesn't have the natural ability to ingest other animal's milk.

Many undiagnosed people continue to ingest milk as they attribute their bloating, flatulence, fatigue or rumbling stomach to other causes.
Symptoms of lactose intolerance usually develop in the late teen and adult years. Lactose Intolerance increases with age- it isn't something most are born with.


It has been estimated by many medical and governmental sources that 75% of the entire human population is lactose intolerant, making biological sense as mammals naturally become lactose intolerant after weaning. This acts as a protective measure from the toxin as they have no further biological need for milk.

Domestic Cat meat has nutrition comparable to poultry and livestock, with less chemicals!
Why are you denying yourself the nutrition of felines, yet feel comfortable eating other animals who have more chemicals and produce higher chances of human illness?
Is there an ethical difference between eating your dog and eating a chicken?
Who decides which animals are worth living and which can be murdered?
Why depriving yourself the nutrition of human babies, but thoughtlessly consume other mammal's babies?

Ethical vegans often concentrate on the issue of animal rights, which is a highly relevant and controversial contemporary issue.

Some think vegan food is more expensive. Remember- You can buy expensive specialty food anywhere. Just like you don't have to buy expensive meats, cheeses, and ice creams, you don't have to buy the meat replacements,
vegan cheeses, and non-dairy ice creams that are expensive!
