Session 1 Recap:
Who founded Tri Delta? Where were they?

What does the pearl symbolize?

What are our colors?

What is the purpose of Delta Delta Delta...
"The purpose of Delta Delta Delta...
" shall be to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members, to develop a stronger and more womanly character, to broaden the moral and intellectual life, and to assist its members in every possible way."
(pg. 31)

Obligations of Membership (pg. 27)
Set forth by Delta Delta Delta nationally
You will electronically sign that you've read these on your Deltas Only account
Read aloud
What is "Standards"? (pg. 38 )
The Standards Committee is responsible for enforcing the standards & obligations of our members
They may "call members in", or a member may make an appointment
A meeting may result in a provided resource, a loss of privilege, or some type of assistance
Meetings may be due to a policy violation, out of concern, or to discuss particular situations/circumstances
Meetings are typically held on Sunday afternoons in the multipurpose room
Standards is ALWAYS here for you. We are not just here to enforce rules, but to assist our members in any way possible.

An adviser calculates the live-in list for your pledge class around February, using the list of names who said that they would like to live in
Each girl is given a point total, with 60% of that total being based on Fall grades, & 40% based on Fall Dolphin Dots
Each year, it depends on how many older girls live in as to how many sophomores get to live in
About 70% of sophomores who wanted to live in could for PC'13
